Balance is the practice of Washington D.C. dentist Dr. Andrew C. Cobb, DDS. For over 25 years, Dr. Cobb has been balancing a career dedicated to comprehensive dentistry, advancing education and humanitarian efforts.
Following in the footsteps of his late father, Dr. Cobb graduated from Georgetown School of Dentistry in 1984. He joined his father in private practice and continues to build on a foundation of expert patient care.
Dr. Cobb aims to balance health, function and esthetics using the latest in-office dental technology. He has mastered the latest innovations in dentistry through continuing education at The Dawson Academy, where he is also a senior faculty member. The Dawson Academy is renowned for its courses in continuing dental education; dedicated to teaching a comprehensive approach to dentistry with concentrations in occlusion, temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and esthetic restorative dentistry. Dr. Cobb holds additional academic appointments and is affiliated with numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
Reaching beyond his patients and the academic communities, Dr. Cobb is passionate about his work in the local and international communities. Dr. Cobb has joined the efforts of Somos Amigos Medical Mission and travels to a remote mountainous village in the Dominican Republic several times a year to provide pro bono dental services. In addition, Dr. Cobb offers his services, free of charge, to less fortunate members of local Washington D.C. community through the Spanish Catholic Center, Archdiocesan Health Care Network, and N Street Village, to name a few. Dr. Cobb has helped victims of domestic violence through work with the AACD’s “Give Back a Smile” program, providing women with prosthetic and cosmetic dental care.
